Hi. My name is Simone and I’m a wildlife artist. I’m interested in painting a picture of a snow leopard and would like to connect with Mark Smith, photographer, to explore consent for shared copyrights of picture he may have that I would be inspired to paint.
My name is Sarah. I am ten years old. My friend Sydney and I would like to have a fund
raiser for snow leopards. May we send our money this coming winter to you.
hi Sarah, fantastic that you and Sydney are going to raise money for snow leopards
When you do please contact the Snow Leopard Conservancy http://snowleopardconservancy.org to donate your money. They have some really good conservation projects to help snow leopards. Good luck! Let me know how you go.
warm regards, Sibylle
Hello Sybille
Som Ale referred me to your blog. He’s a friend and ex colleague of mine. I moved to Sydney from China about 10 months ago. Recently I’ve been in touch with Som and am now working voluntarily on raising funding for his snow leopard conservation efforts. I worked for over nine years before with WWF, mainly on species conservation. It would be great to make contact and compare notes, and if possible, merge our efforts where and when we can. best regards, Tshering
Hi,
I have a friend with a special birthday coming up and he just loves snow leopards. Is there anything special associated with the snow leopards that would be a good present, along the lines of naming one after him or something of similar ilk?
thanks
Linda
Could I please get some information sent out to my daughter as she has an endangered species project to do and she has chosen the beautiful snow leopard.
Thank you very much.
Kind regards
Vanessa
Hi Vanessa
your daughter can get info for school project on the students and kids page of this website. I’m so happy she has chosen snow leopards. The cats will be grateful she is informing herself and her fellow students and teachers about them. She can also get more info by going to the Snow Leopard Trust website (US) – just google snow leopard trust.
best regards, Sibylle

Hello Sybille,
Happy New Year and Good Luck!
Please visit our page on Facebook which I have opened according to your advice. I have placed not all materials on Facebook, but I will gradually supplement the information. There are some our photos, and also a photo-gallery of snow leopards. Unfortunately it is impossible to do all quickly also because at us only the high-speed Internet (Megaline Turbo + recently has been connected). Also there was a lot of work on Snow Leopard Conservation Strategy in Kazakhstan which has already received positive scientific examination of Institute of Zoology of Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan and is approved by Scientific and technical council of the Forest and Hunting Economy Committee .
At us with Snow Leopard Conservancy and personally contacts were came into with Darla Hillard and Rodney Jackson. We have got acquainted with Darla in Gorno-Altaisk (Russia) in September at Festival of the Snow Leopard. Since January we plan to begin teamwork. We will hope for success in conservation of snow leopard in Kazakhstan.
Sincerely yours,
Oleg
Thank you Oleg. Happy new year to you too. I visited your Facebook page and it’s good that snow leopard news from Kazakhstan will now be on Facebook – congratulations. I wish you much success in snow leopard conservation work in your country, best regards from Sibylle

Dear Sibylle,
I just visited your website and love it! Thank you for the work that you are doing to help us care about and be more connected to snow leopard.
I wanted to let you know about a book for children we (Dancing Dakini Press) are planning to publish called “Where Snow Leopard Prowls; Wild Animals of Tibet.” It’s intended to inform and connect children (and parents and teachers) to snow leopard and other wildlife of the region – The Snow Leopard Trust helped us in putting the facts together. The book is actually all ready to go to the printers.
We’re actually hoping the raise the money to print the book via Kickstarter and are busy building a support network to make this work. We have affiliated with Izilwane and Machik and this will ensure that some of the books will actually make it into Tibet for Tibetan children. I was wondering whether you’d be interested in helping spread the word about this project? Of course, we’d be happy to reciprocate and spread the word about your site and work.
You can see something about the book on this preview of our kickstarter page (note that the project is not active yet):
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1575584067/885592939?token=d29457a6
And our small publishing company’s web site is:

I tried to email you but the address sibylle@snowleopardblog.com bounced back.
All the best with you endeavors!
